Upper Primary Teacher TET Exam Syllabus (Paper-2)
Category: TET Paper-II Exam.
Time Duration: 2.30 hours.
Structure & Content : Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, For Mathematics and Science teacher- Mathematics and Science, For Social Studies/Social Science teacher- Social Science and For any other teacher- either Mathematics and Science or Social Science.
Each Section Marks: 30 Marks.
Total marks for TET Paper-I Exam: 150.

Child Development and Pedagogy : This section will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning as well as understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.
Language I : Focus on the proficiencies related to the medium of instruction on the chosen language in the application form.
Language: Focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension abilities.
Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Science, and Social Studies: focus on the concepts, problem solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of these subjects.
