Assam HS TET 2024 – Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary Education, Assam will conducting by Government of Assam for those who who plan to be teachers in highier secondary school in Assam. Assam HS TET 2024 notification will be released by the Higher Secondary Schools in Assam, the Govt. of Assam.
As per NCTE All post graduates (i.e. MA, M.Sc., M.Com. etc.) are eligible to take the test.The candidate after satisfying about the eligibility criteria for Assam Higher Secondary TET can apply through Online.
Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary Education, Assam 2024
The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary Education, Assam shall be conducted annually or as decided by Government according to need.

To qualify in TET Examination the candidate must get sixty percent marks for general category whoever in case of SC / ST / OBC / MOBC / Physically handicapped category it is fifty five percent.
HS TET Assam 2024 Eligibility Criteria Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary Education, Assam
The minimum eligibility criteria for Post-Graduate Teachers in Secondary Or Senior Secondary Schools as given below :
Masters degree (MA/M.Sc./M.Com) with minimum 50% marks in relevant subject with B.T./B.Ed degree from any recognized University.

Eligibility Criteria & Condition for Assam Higher Secondary TET 2024 –
- The student / candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- They must have Masters Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce in the marks in aggregate 50% with B.T/B. Ed. from a recognized University.
- Maximum Age 38 years (Age relaxation is applicable as 5 years for SC/ST candidates).
All intending candidates may note that B.T / B. Ed. Degree as a mandatory prerequisite eligibility qualification for Higher Secondary teachers stands relaxed up to 01/01/2015 in accordance with the Government Office Memorandum No ASE.324/2009/138 Dated 13th September 2012 issued by the Government of Assam in Secondary Education Department and accordingly candidates who do not possess B.T / B.Ed. Degree may also appear in the TET for Higher Secondary Education and participate in the interview if they come successfully in the Teachers’ Eligibility Test.
Note: Qualifying the HS TET, Assam would not confer a right on any person for Recruitment/ Employment as it is only one of eligibility criteria for appointment.
HS TET Assam 2024 Exam Pattern
The TET conducted by the Higher Secondary Schools in Assam Or respective examination board as directed by the Government of Assam. The Exam pattern for this test will furnish below –
All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
One questions carrying one mark.
Total Marks for the exam is about 200.
There will be no negative marking for wrong answers..
HS TET Assam 2024 Exam Syllabus
There will be two papers of Assam HS TET
(i) Paper I (Common to all candidates).
(ii) Paper II (will have three options namely option A,B & C). A candidate can choose only one option and the choice has to be mentioned in the application form.
Paper I questions will come from Pedagogy, English, Basic numerical and Assam and its people.
The Paper II, will have three options with weight age of question relevant to commerce (Option A), relevant to Science (Option B ) and relevant to general studies and current affairs (Option C).
Assam HS TET (Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary Education, Assam) Qualifying Marks
A candidate who scores 60% or more in the TET examination will be considered as TET pass.
Candidates belonging to SC / ST / SEBC / OBC / Physically Handicapped securing scores 55% may be considered as TET pass.
In accordance with NCTE Guidelines Assam HS TET Certificate shall be valid for a period of 2 years from the date of TET examination.
Note: Assam HS TET Should give weightage to the Assam TET scores in the recruitment process.
HS TET 2024, Assam Application Form
- Candidates can apply the online application form for Assam HS TET.
- Apply Online for Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary Education, Assam Online Form.
- Give all required details.
- Paste photo and sign in JPEG(jpeg) or JPG (jpg) format not exceeding 35 KB and 30 KB respectively in size and then submit the form.
- After successfully of Online Application Form, he/she have to take print out of online SBI Bank Challan and deposit Fee (mention at the official Advertisement & Instruction Manual for Higher Secondary TET ) at any Branch of State Bank of India from 2nd working day onwards, from the date of submission of online application form.
