Assam Madrassa TET 2017 – Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Secondary Education, Assam will conducting by Government of Assam for those who plan to be teachers in Secondary Schools. Assam Madrassa TET 2017 notification will be released by the Government of Assam, in Secondary Education Department.
As per NCTE All graduates (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com etc.) are eligible to take the Assam Madrassa TET 2017. The candidate after satisfying about the eligibility criteria for Assam Madrassa TET can apply through Online/Offline.
Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Secondary Education, Assam 2017
The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Secondary Education, Assam shall be conducted annually or as decided by Government according to need.
To qualify in TET Examination the candidate must get sixty percent marks for general category whoever in case of SC / ST / OBC / MOBC / Physically handicapped category it is fifty five percent.

Starting date of Online Application Form : 16.08.2016.
Last date of Online Application Form : 31.08.2016.
Last date of Payment of Fees at Bank : 03.09.2016.
Assam Madrassa TET 2017 Eligibility Criteria Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Secondary Education, Assam
The minimum eligibility criteria for Graduate Teachers in Secondary Schools as given below :
BA / B.Sc / B.Com in the marks in aggregate is 50% with B.T./ B.Ed. degree from any recognized university.
Hindi Teacher: Pravin / Ratna in Hindi in the marks in aggregate is 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized university or B.A with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T / B. Ed. degree from any recognized University.
Classical Teacher (Sanskrit): Shastri with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized University or B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree from any recognized University.
Classical Teacher i.e. Arabic, Urdu, Persian etc: MM with 50% marks with degree qualification from any recognized University or B.A with Arabic as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T./B.Ed. from any recognized University.
Classical Teacher (Assamese Language, Manipuri Language): B.A with Honours in respective subject with 50% marks and B.T. /B.Ed. degree from any recognized University.
Eligibility Criteria & Condition for Assam Secondary TET 2017 –
- The student / candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- They must be Graduate (having 50% marks) from a recognized University with B.T/B. Ed. from a recognized University.
- Maximum Age 43 years (Age relaxation is applicable as 5 years for SC/ST candidates).
Note:- Candidates who don’t have B.T / B. Ed. Degree may appear at the TET Examination for Secondary Education provided they have the academic qualifying marks as above.
Assam Madrassa TET 2017 Exam Pattern
The TET conducted by the Department of Secondary School Education, Assam Or respective examination board as directed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Exam pattern for this test will furnish below –
All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
One questions carrying one mark.
Total Marks for the exam is about 200.
There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
Teacher Eligibility Test in Assam Secondary TET 2017 Syllabus
Assam Madrassa TET questions will come from General Studies & Current Affairs, Pedagogy & General English. General Studies & Current Affairs will carrying 100 marks and Pedagogy & General English will carrying 100 marks.
Assam Madrassa TET (Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Secondary Education, Assam) Qualifying Marks
A candidate who scores 60% or more in the TET examination will be considered as TET pass.
Candidates belonging to SC / ST / SEBC / OBC / Physically Handicapped securing scores 55% may be considered as TET pass.
In accordance with NCTE Guidelines Assam Madrassa TET Certificate shall be valid for a period of 5 years from the date of TET examination.
Note: Assam Madrassa TET Should give weightage to the Assam TET scores in the recruitment process.

- Candidates can apply the online application form for Assam Madrassa TET.

- Give all required details.
- Paste photo and sign an then submit the form.
- After successfully of Online Application Form, he/she have to take print out of online SBI Bank Challan and deposit Fee (mention at the official instruction pdf) at any Branch of State Bank of India from 2nd working day onwards, from the date of submission of online application form.
